Worst hotel experience I've had in Europe. They made us wait until 15:00 for check-in and then when we went to the room,

Şimdiye kadar Avrupa’da deneyimlediğim en kötü otel deneyimi. 3 e kadar check in için beklettiler valiz bırakmamıza izin vermediler sonra oda için gittiğimizde de bize çarşaf havlu değiştirilmemiş oda verdiler. Bildirdiğinizden de inanmayıp bizimle beraber yukarı çıkıp gördüler 5 dakikada temizleyeceklerini iddia ettiler. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum . Worst hotel experience I've had in Europe. They made us wait until 15:00 for check-in and then when we went to the room, they gave us the room with unchanged sheets and towels. They do not believe what you are telling and claim that they will come out and clean it together in 5 minutes when they see it. I would definitely not recommend.

In a good location, good value and clean. The stairs are steep, as in all old Amsterdam properties. The attic rooms on floors 2 and 3 are tiny but ok for a short stay. Reception in the downstairs bar wasn’t open often, although the hotel was full.

The most amazing food and great team. I really loved my stew, not what j was expecting at all, but glad i tried it, thank you. It was lovely to have such good food on our first night, and to find such a friendly atmosphere.

2/5. Our two mains issues with this hotel was the noise and lack of privacy. ANY noise from outside you can hear clear as day and with it being next to a road you’re kept up or awoken by motorcycles and cars throughout the night. So if you do decide to stay here, bring your ear plugs!! Onto the privacy, the cleaner knocked on our door for housekeeping to which we politely declined as we heading out a little later that day. No more than half an hour later the same housekeeper unlocks our door without knocking and attempts to enter, unfortunately for us, this was during a moment you don’t want a stranger seeing - I’m sure you can use your imagination for that. Leaving us feeling awkward and in shock. We tried to spend as little time as possible in the actual room since that as we felt our privacy had been completely invaded. Maybe a do not disturb sign or a working inside lock would of helped!!! The room itself wasn’t terrible if you’re just using it as base but it’s very small and more like a b&b without the breakfast. The shower was nice but the whole bathroom gets wet as there’s no divide. It’s a lovely walk to the centre from the hotel and there’s lots of nice bars around if you don’t fancy walking all the way in. Overall, good location but not worth the sleepless nights and invasion of privacy.

This "hotel" (if you can even call it like that) is the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. The rooms arent just small, they are so tiny that you cant even open your suitcase. When turning around you either hurt yourself by hitting something or just push against random stuff in the room. The bed... I'd rather sleep on the floor to be honest. The bed is so small and soft that you randomly slip down while sleeping/trying to sleep. The bedsheets arent fixed anywhere so they also just slip away and you sleep on the absolutely nasty matress. Even nastier than the matress which is drained in colourful stains are the towels with misterious yellow stains on them which you should use after showering. Absolutely amazing to dry yourself with dirty towels! The so called 'Showeringroom' is a shower and a sink in a tiny room (with a roof pitch so you can hit youre head nicly while showering). The shower isnt separated so the whole room gets wet while showering. Also the entrance gets wet because nothing stops the water from running out of the 'Showeringroom'. There are also towel hangers which are so nasty that you wouldnt even want to put your dirty towels on there. The airing/ventilation in all 'rooms' are nearly not working because they are so dirty, they even kinda look like they havent ever been cleaned. What for sure never has been cleaned is the radiator! I have never seen this much dirt and dust on such a tiny place. The toilet is the only thing that may be okay, but only if you're not taller than 170 cm because otherwise you wont have any space to put youre legs in the room. There is a weird thing that maybe some people could use as a wardrobe, we definitely couldnt. This 'wardrobe' is useful for exactly nothing except stealing space in the already way too tiny room. The hairdryer is almost as nasty as the radiator. The handle of the hairdryer is sticky and dirty. The net on the back contains more dust than net. The (only) window in the room is not fully openable and also not fully closable or in any way secure not to be robbed because you can just push it open. Also the watering system of the neighbours comes up to the window. So if the window is not as closed as possible the whole rooms gets wet. Amazing because if you come back to the hotel on a hot evening, 35° in the room you cant even open the window then! (Airconditioning non existant). The TV isnt working at all. But also its so tiny you probably wouldnt even see a thing anyways. The noises are also a big problem here. You can hear every word from your room neighbours. Also if you're neighbours (as in our case) are just ignorant idiots they will start smashing their doors early in the morning, which will definitely not let you sleep. Some things that may not be about the room but the hotel in general are that the staircase is so tiny that you cant even carry your luggage up there if its not either tiny or you're hulk. There is a 'first' door you have to go through before coming to the actual room. This door is an absolute misterious to me, sometimes u have to jump against it with your whole body to even open it, and sometimes you just have the door handle in your hand and have to fix it yourself to get out. The employees are really unfriendly and do absolutely everything to avoid you. The location is okay, at the outskirts of the amsterdam city, definitely expected more since they acted like as if it actually were in the centrum, but for that you have to walk at least 30 minutes. The only good thing about this hotel is that its so horrible and uncomfortable that you spend every possible second exploring the city because you try so hard to avoid this hotel.
